On November 30th, Tammy Lapointe of Brantford, ON won a $112,262.50 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) November 50/50 draw. Her lucky number (NV-9155535) was drawn electronically, and she was contacted immediately.
“I’m still in shock!"
While Tammy lives in Southern Ontario, she grew up in Echo Bay – just outside of Sault Ste. Marie. Many of Tammy’s extended family members, including her son, still live in the Sault Ste. Marie area. She has been supporting the SAHF 50/50 for a while, and was floored when she got the call.
When asked about her plans for the winnings, Tammy said “I’m still in shock! I’m certainly going to have a great Christmas, and I’ll save some for my retirement.”
Tammy was one of 10 winners this month!
