On March 28th, Andrew Bremner of Sault Ste. Marie, ON won a $70,975 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) March 50/50 draw. Andrew’s lucky number (M-7779926) was drawn electronically, and he was called immediately.
He was in shock when he first got the call, and thought he won $75 dollars. Andrew couldn’t believe it when he was told it was quite a bit more than that! He plans to use his winnings to support his retirement.
Andrew wasn’t the only winner this month – March’s Early Bird, Ozzie Grandinetti of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, was the lucky winner of $10,000 on March 13th with ticket M-4062462.
“It’s wonderful to see how life-changing these lotteries can be for our winners,” said Teresa Martone, Executive Director for Sault Area Hospital Foundation. “In supporting our 50/50 draws, ticket buyers not only have the chance to change their own lives, but positively impact our community. Our hospital 50/50 draws help support every person in Algoma accessing care at SAH. Thank you to our loyal supporters!”
